Welcome, From Head of School

July 12, 2019

Dear ECP Families,

I hope you have enjoyed your summer break! I know I really enjoyed the time I’ve gotten to spend with my family!

I also spent a lot of time thinking about our ECP family and each time was filled with gratitude, love, and hope. As we go into the 2019-20 school year, I am excited about strengthening the relationships that build our community. These relationships will help us push each other to grow and reach our full potential.

I fell in love with Endeavor’s mission nearly 9 years ago when I joined as a 5th grade teacher because of the commitment ECP made to students and their futures. Our work over this summer has been focused on preparing to help every ECPista better fulfill that mission. I look forward to sharing with you our renewed commitment to high expectations through meaningful homework, rigorous instruction, purposeful small group supports, and strong cultural classrooms. We know that in order to do these things well, we need to build strong connections with each child and will be dedicating time to equip all staff to do so.

My goal is that your child feels connected to, motivated by, and challenged at Endeavor. It will take hard work, trust, and sacrifice from everyone—parents, families, ECP staff, and students. Thank you for the commitment you’ve made to your child’s education thus far by choosing Endeavor and for your continued support at home as we work to instill the PRIDE values (preparation, respect, integrity, determination, and enthusiasm) as we know these are vital to fulfilling our mission and preparing all students with the academic skills, character traits, and intellectual discipline to be leaders in our world.

I look forward to a wonderful 2019-20 school year where we will strengthen our community, push each other to grow, support each student, and progress towards our full potential!

Thank you,

Danielle Lukk

Kindergarten Spotlight

April 2, 2019
This week’s Kindergarten Spotlight:
In Mrs. Eldrageely’s and Ms. Haddad’s kindergarten class, students have been thinking creatively to utilize technique Tuesdays during morning advisory. Last week students did quiz quiz trade with occupations and weather. Students had to ask each other “would you rather” example A or example B and provide a reason as to why they chose their answer. After they answered each other’s questions they traded their cards and found a different partner.
Parent Recommendation: Parents, students, and siblings can play quiz quiz trade with options such as chores, dinner/ snack options, clothing choices and free time. As families play quiz quiz trade together they can use pictures or words and provide a reason why they chose their choice.

New Principal Announcement

July 30, 2018

Dear ECP Families,

As we enter the 2018-19 school year, I am very excited to announce that I will be joining the team as ECP’s Principal. I have been privileged to be a part of the ECP family since 2010 and am honored to be joining in this greater role.

When I started at ECP as a 5th grade science and reading teacher, I fell in love with the unique place that was Endeavor. I was attracted to the joyful rigor in the academics, the focused teaching of self-discipline, the passion shared to build lifelong readers, and the generosity and commitment of our families.

As I continued to grow as a middle school teacher with our oldest ECPistas, I got the chance to see how ECP’s collaboration with families, focus on our PRIDE values and continuously raising the bar for academics unlocked doors for our scholars as they got into high quality high schools and colleges. As I stepped into leadership roles at Endeavor, I was able to see the passion that our teachers bring to continuing to improve the work that we do every day with students to make them the most prepared for their future. Nothing brings me more pride than seeing ECP alumni return with younger siblings to tell me the amazing things they are up to.

I’ve seen our mission fulfilled with so many of our ECPistas and am committed to making this a reality for all of our families. It will take hard work, trust, and sacrifice from everyone—parents, families, ECP staff, and students. I trust that by choosing Endeavor for your child you are ready to do what it takes to fulfill our mission and prepare all students with the academic skills, character traits, and intellectual discipline to be leaders in our world. I know I am!

I look forward to a wonderful 2018-19 school year filled with collaboration, joy, and growth!

Thank you!

Endeavor College Prep Receives Salesforce Implementation Grant

February 20, 2015

Endeavor College Prep is honored to partner with the Taproot Foundation, a non-profit organization that makes business talent available to organizations that are working to improve society. The Taproot Foundation drives social change by leading, mobilizing, and engaging professionals in pro bono service. In October, ECP was the recipient of the Salesforce Implementation Grant from Taproot. We are excited to work with our pro bono consultants to implement Salesforce, which will help us implement a powerful, new database, allowing Endeavor College Prep to better track our alumni on their path to college and to better stay in touch with our supporters.
